The United Kingdom has strong laws against modern slavery and human trafficking under the Modern Slavery Act 2015. This legislation consolidates previous offences and establishes severe penalties for slavery, servitude, forced labour, and trafficking. It also requires businesses to report on their efforts to prevent slavery within their supply chains under Section 54 (Transparency in Supply Chains).
